Rosemarkie: Gordon Davidson Holm (1948 – 2005)

Rosemarkie in Scotland is a lovely village whose bay sweeps round to Chanonry Point, an enchanting place where you can sit on the beach and watch dolphins feeding.

The bench is dedicated to Gordon Davidson Holm, who died on 6 February 2005 at the age of 56 years.  His obituary says he died after a long illness, ‘borne with great courage and dignity’.  The Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council newsletter reports that Anne Holm arranged for a bench to be erected at Rosemarkie on 24 May 2007 .  The inscription on the plaque reads, ‘For whom Rosemarkie Beach was always a very special place’.

Rosemarkie: The bench erected in memory of Gordon Davidson Holm and the beautiful view you can enjoy from the bench of Rosemarkie Bay and the Moray Firth.
